Questions
What does a fast check do, and what doesn't it do?
A fast check confirms the address is well-formed and that its domain exists and can receive email. It flags disposable, role, no-reply, parked and website-only domains, and suggests fixes for typos. It doesn't confirm that the mailbox itself exists: an address at a working company can still bounce if that person has left. Mailbox (deep) checks are coming later.
How accurate is it?
We don't publish an accuracy percentage until we've measured one, and then we'll publish the method with it. Every result explains itself with a reason code.
What am I charged for?
One check per address. Results with status unknown are free, and retrying a request with the same Idempotency-Key is never charged twice.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
Checks stop for the rest of the month: the API answers quota_exceeded and the dashboard offers an upgrade. We never bill you extra without asking.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing costs 10 months' price for 12 months: two months free.
Can I change plans?
Yes. An upgrade takes effect straight away; a downgrade applies from your next renewal.
Paid plans open once billing and our terms, privacy policy and refund policy are published. Until then every account is on the Free plan.
